áWelcome to Port Neches Middle School.áWe at PNMS are dedicated to providing the best middle school education for your child.áWe are strongly committed to the core values of our country, our state and district.áWe believe and stress Honor, Pride and Tradition to our students.áThe students at PNMS daily strive for excellence.áWe are committed as a staff to building champions.áThe very signs in our hallways read:áá Work like a champion, Study like a champion, Perform like a champion.áIt is my core belief as principal we must build students in three ways.áWe must build mind, body, and spirit.áUpon this belief we offer our students a great curriculum with electives in fine arts and athletics along with our commitment to teach the TEKS as provided by the state.áWe offer a strong U.I.L. academic team to students combined with a great band, choir and athletic program.áStudents can participate in a great CATE program for vocational arts.áWe are very excited about our new school.áThe new school provides students with a computer at every desk in core classrooms.áWe have a four speaker surround sound system with projectors and LCD TVs in our core area classes.áScience labs have portable computers and an outside courtyard for science projects.áOur new school is a safe, comfortable environment for learning.áPlease feel free to browse our site.áWe appreciate you taking the time to visit us here at PNMS.

Educational Background
Mr. Hooper is enjoying his seventh year at PNMS as the campus leader for the Warriors. A PN-G graduate, Mr. Hooper is entering hisá20th year in education. Before this term, he served 3 years at Orangefield ISD and 10 years with Nederland ISD as a teacher/coach. Six years with Nederland were as an assistant principal. Prior to entering education, he served as a custodial worker at PN-G High School. He holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Political Science from Lamar University and a MEd. in Administration from Lamar as well.
